Biography
The founder of Universal's electrical department in 1913, Illinois-born cameraman Virgil Miller later photographed every cowboy star on the busy lot. Switching to special effects photography in the sound era, Miller worked for United Artists, Paramount, and 20th Century Fox. He was nominated for an Academy Award for
