Biography
Hungary-born art director William S. Darling, born Wilhelm Sandorhazi, got his start in Hollywood in 1920. He began working with 20th Century-Fox around 1933 and it was with this studio that he earned the most recognition for his work on such films as
Song of Bernadette (1943) and
