Biography
Harold Daniels launched his film career in 1936. Confined mostly to low-budget productions, Daniels is best remembered as shifty would-be rapist Jack Farnsworth in the 1940 exploitationer Secrets of a Model. In the late 1940s he switched to directing, helming such drive-in fare as
Daughter of the West (1949) and
Sword of Venus (1953). Daniel's 1957 production
Bayou remained in release for nearly twenty years under the title Poor White Trash. Harold Daniels died during surgery at the reported age of 69. ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
