Biography

During his distinguished career as a film editor, John Bloom worked on a number of first-rate films including Georgy Girl (1966), The Lion in Winter (1968), and Casino (1995). He has been nominated for two Academy Awards and in 1982 won the Oscar for Ghandi. In addition to working in a wide variety of feature films, Bloom also works in television and won an Emmy nomination for Masada (1981). ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
