Biography
This Swedish director, actress and writer enrolled in the Stockholm Film School at age 27. Up till then she had lived an adventurous life having run away to Paris, cruised down the Mississippi, and been a horse trainer in Denmark. In 1966 she earned a BA in Foreign Languages in Lund. While at Lund, she began acting at the Student Theater. Later she continued acting at the Theatre des Carmes in Avignon, France, and then in Odinteatret, an experimental theater in Denmark. Ahrne then began working as a documetary filmmaker and editor in both Swedish and Italian TV.
