Biography
A gaunt and usually mustachioed character actor, Charles LeMoyne played outlaws of every kind, often opposite
Harry Carey. Fed up with the B-Western grind by 1937, LeMoyne publicly begged for more variety, pointing out that he was indeed able to "read lines without the use of a big hat or gun." No one paid the least bit of attention and he retired. ~ Hans J. Wollstein, All Movie Guide
