Biography
Queens, New York, native Vincent Piazza was a successful amateur hockey player at Villanova University before his athletic aspirations were iced by a recurring shoulder injury. Subsequently realizing that he had little choice but to resort back to his first love of acting, Piazza hit the boards hard and never looked back. He started out as a prolific New York stage actor before making the transition to film and television, honing his acting skills in productions of Baby Steps and A Match Made in Heaven. Appearances in Law & Order: Criminal Intent,
The Sopranos, and
Rescue Me found the rising star becoming a familiar face to television viewers, with additional roles in such independent films as
Rocket Science,
Goodbye Baby, and
