Biography
As the animator and supervisor behind such Pixar hits as
Toy Story and Monsters, Inc., Glenn John McQueen was instrumental in creating some of the most memorable characters in modern animation. Born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, in 1960, McQueen was awarded a Presidential scholarship to N.Y.I.T.'s Computer Graphics Laboratory before joining Pixar in the early '90s. A married member of AMPAS, McQueen was well known for his inspiring and kindhearted leadership in addition to the groundbreaking animation which he helped to create. On October 29, 2002, Glenn John McQueen died of melanoma in Berkeley, CA. ~ Jason Buchanan, All Movie Guide
