Biography
Costume designer Mary Claire Hannan has created clothing for a wide variety of films. Since the time she was hired as the wardrobe supervisor on
Reservoir Dogs (1992), she has worked closely with
Quentin Tarantino in various capacities. She was a full-fledged costumer for Tarantino's
Jackie Brown (1997). Hannan was born in San Francisco, but grew up in Southern California. She learned her trade at the Fashion Institute of Design, where she obtained an associates of fine arts degree and at the Université de la Sorbonne in Paris. Hannan has designed costumes for television and music videos. Her other film credits include
Killing Zoe (1994) and
