Biography
Screenwriter Irene Kamp penned the screenplays on a few films between 1958 and 1975 including
Paris Blues, and
The Beguiled. Before becoming a writer, the Brooklyn native worked at a small Long Island newspaper then worked as a receptionist, magazine editor and critic. Kamp had her first screenplay filmed in 1958. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
