Biography
Canada-born actor Peter Whitman was best known in his adopted country of Great Britain for his work in stage musicals. He moved to England and started out on BBC radio in 1968. Whitman made his screen debut in the mid-'70s and went on to play supporting roles in several films, including
Superman II (1980),
Superman III (1983), and
