Black Sunday, and the producer of both
A Place in the Sun (1951) and
Shane (1953), Ivan Moffat's three-decade tenure in Hollywood produced films of both touching sentiment and nail-biting suspense. A Cuban native, Moffat studied at the London College of Economics before joining the Army during World War II and covering the Allies' efforts in documentary form.
