Biography

A life-long resident of Los Angeles, Edward K. Milkis started out as a film editor in the late '50s. His work can be seen in films such as North by Northwest (1959) and The Time Machine (1960). In the '60s, Milkis associate-produced Star Trek with Gene Roddenberry and after that became a post-production supervisor at Paramount Television. In that capacity, Milkis assisted with the production of numerous sitcoms, including Happy Days. His feature-film credits as a producer include Silver Streak (1976) and The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas (1982). ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
