Biography
Producer Walter MacEwen was born in Scotland and got his start in film working for British-International and Gainsborough Pictures. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1930 and worked as a reader at Warner Bros. He had become the head of the story department by the time he left to work at Paramount, becoming a producer in the 1940s.
