Biography
American producer Martin Melcher was the husband of actress
Doris Day and produced several of her films. A native of North Adams, MA, Melcher worked as the agent and road manager of the Andrews Sisters. He and Day formed their own production company in 1952. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
