Biography
Screenwriter and noted film critic John Berger wrote the three scripts that helped give Swiss filmmaker Alain Tanner international recognition. He has also written a seminal book on aesthetics, Ways of Seeing (1973). His son, Jacob Berger, has become an actor. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
