Biography
Blonde American leading lady Jacqueline White was signed to an MGM contract in 1943. During her three-year stay at the studio, White's co-stars included Laurel and Hardy (
Air Raid Wardens) and Red Skelton (
The Show-Off). She then moved to RKO, where she remained until 1952. Her best part at that studio was her last: the deceptively carefree young mother whom detective
Charles McGraw befriends on a perilous train trip in the noir classic
The Narrow Margin (1952). ~ Hal Erickson, All Movie Guide
