Biography
Producer Irwin W. Young has been responsible for the making of many New York independent films, including
Caught (1996) and actor
Edward James Olmos' directorial debut
American Me (1992). Most of these films were made through Du Art Film Laboratories, where Young serves as the chairman of the board. In addition to helming that company, Young is also the president of Puerto Rico's Western Broadcasting Corporation and serves on the board of New York's Independent Feature Project. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
