German actress Greta Schroeder made her first film appearances during the WWI era. At one time married to actor
Paul Wegener (she billed herself as Greta Schroeder-Wegener for the duration of this union), she was also wed to director Ernst Matray. Her talking picture appearances included a major role in the benighted Kollberg, Nazi propaganda minister Josef Goebbel's disastrously expensive fiasco of 1944. Greta Schroeder was last seen in 1956's
