Biography

Cinematographer Frederick Gately was one of the first to give television movies a feature-film-like quality. Gately first worked as a film editor for Wilding Pictures. After that he headed the motion picture division of Sarr, Inc. After becoming a cinematographer, he began working for such production companies as Allegro and New World.
