Biography

Ernst Fegte was an art director for Hollywood films from the mid-'20s through the early '70s. A native of Hamburg, Germany, he started in German films in 1919. While working in the U.S., he and Hans Dreier shared an Oscar for Frenchman's Creek (1945). ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
