Biography

Dwight Taylor was a noted playwright and screenwriter. The son of playwright Charles A. Taylor and actress Laurette Taylor, he got his start as a journalist for the New Yorker magazine. From there he began writing plays such as Lipstick and The Gay Divorce. Taylor began writing Hollywood screenplays in the early '30s. In the '60s, Taylor wrote for a number of television shows.
