Charles Chaplin, Jamaica's Charlie Chaplin is one of reggae music's leading proponents of the dancehall style, in which toasters rap over reggae backing tracks. Chaplin is noted for his rapid-fire vocal style and his mixture of humor with social and political commentary, often speaking out against violence, drug abuse, and disrespect to women.
