Biography
When Charles Rosen became a production designer, it was the fulfillment of a dream he'd had since the age of 12. He launched his career as a set designer on early-'50s television shows, after graduating from the Yale Drama School. After a while, he started working on independent films, most of which were made in New York. He eventually came to Hollywood to work on such major features as
Flashdance (1983),
Broadcast News (1987),
Free Willy (1993), and
