Biography

American cinematographer Benjamin F. Reynolds worked at most of the major Hollywood studios between 1917 and the mid-'30s. He started out in the early 1900s doing a variety of jobs for Universal and became a full-fledged director of photography in 1917. Over his ensuing career, Reynolds worked with such major directors as John Ford and Erich Von Stroheim. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
