Biography
Yugoslav actor Bekim Fehmiu graduated to matinee idol-hood with his starring appearance in the Romany-language I Even Met Happy Gypsies (1966). Almost immediately, Fehmiu was wooed by producers from other countries, including the U.S. His handful of English-language appearances have not exactly set the hinterlands on fire, however.
