Biography
American producer Aubrey Schenk earned a law degree at Cornell and for a while was a practicing attorney when he broke into the film industry as legal representative to a theater chain in 1936. In the mid-'40s, Schenk decided to become a full-time producer. He made the bulk of his films, most of them low- to medium-budget affairs, during the late '40s and '50s. ~ Sandra Brennan, All Movie Guide
