Paul Simon as Simon and Garfunkel, but he has also had a sporadic acting career. He made his feature-film debut playing Nately in Mike Nichol's adaptation of
Joseph Heller's
Catch-22 in 1970. The following year, Garfunkel appeared opposite
Jack Nicholson in another
Mike Nichols film,
