"My son is 17 now, so forgive me if these suggestions will be sneered at by your crowd. "Back to the future" is not new, but still a VHS or DVD favorite (n°1 only).Princess Bride. March of the Pinguin (don't know how the title was translated in the USA). Clueless. The revenge of a blonde n°1 (sorry, don't know the title in english) with Reese Weatherspoon (??) (for girls, mostly). Mask. Men in black. Mars attacks (scary for a five years old). On the "real life" documentaries side, teenagers I know were very moved by "Maria full of grace" (definitively NOT for a five years old, but an eye-opener true story on the drug runs). and so many others...Give me a shout if you think this advise was sound. "
