"It was an ok film. Too predictable and the action scenes looked like something out of a bad 80's movie. The main character stands out in the open and no one can seem to shoot him with automatic weapons. I didn't like the transitions between action and some dialogue. Someone gets shot and dies and 15 seconds later the characters are talking about something else and they are completely calm and the scene hasn't changed. To me, that took the human element out of the main characters. I did enjoy most of the acting and the over all mood of the film was right on. However, too much of the back story was told through dialogue and when that happens it makes you feel that the characters don't know each other. What I mean is, I would never go up to a family member and say “you are my aunt from my father’s side". She is my aunt, she would know that. Had the film spent more time through the eyes of the Solomon Bo character, I would have felt more of the pain ... " [More]
