About a year and a half ago I saw an amazing movie. Or, at leat, at the time it was amazing. I'm not quite sure how well it stands in comparison to movies I've seen as of late because I haven't seen it since that late night sometime nearly two years ago on Cinemax on Demand.
Lately, it's been bugging me. I don't even remember the name of it, and I'd really like to see it again.
It basically centers around a the new kid in school. He comes off to everyone else as a freak, yadda yadda ya... He makes three friends: the smartest kid in school who is abhorred by one of his teachers, the "punk" slut, and some other random girl who serves nearly no purpose from what I can remember.
Smart Guy and his lot have been trying to draw energy to affect their surroundings. One day, when New Kid joins them, he opens up this power source, and each of the four kids gets a special, color coded ability.
New Kid: Green: Healing
Smart Kid: Blue: Telepathy
Promiscuous Kid: Purple: Persuasion
Other Kid: Red: Telekinesis
They all enjoy their new powers until Purple starts to abuse hers. Green wins out in the end. Hurrah hurrah.
