"Or, I thought it was when I watched it three or four years ago. I haven't been able to watch it again because I forgot the title. Can someone help me out a bit? Maybe someone's seen it? Basic outline: New boy in school. Social reject. Meets up with three other outcasts: the Slut, the Nerd, and some mousy brown haired girl who doesn't really develop in the movie. They start meeting at a place in the woods together, and one day, Newbie acts as a catalyst for amazing change. There's a rock that is some sort of energy source. It give the four amazing color coded abilities. Nerd is blue, and given telepathy. At one point in the movie, he uses it against a teacher who hates him and tries to make him look stupid all the time. Mouse gets telekinesis and is red. Slut gets the power of persuasion, and is purple. Newbie heals with his greenness. They enjoy their powers for a while, but then Slut starts going crazy with power. "It's not much of a horror movie, leaning more toward science fiction, but... a good movie nonetheless. Or, I thought it was when I watched it three or four years ago. "About a year and a half ago I saw an amazing movie. Or, at leat, at the time it was amazing. I'm not quite sure how well it stands in comparison to movies I've seen as of late because I haven't seen it since that late night sometime nearly two years ago on Cinemax on Demand.Lately, it's been bugging me. I don't even remember the name of it, and I'd really like to see it again.It basically centers around a the new kid in school. He comes off to everyone else as a freak, yadda yadda ya... He makes three friends: the smartest kid in school who is abhorred by one of his teachers, the "punk" slut, and some other random girl who serves nearly no purpose from what I can remember. Smart Guy and his lot have been trying to draw energy to affect their surroundings.
