Personal statement:
Very inspired by internet duo Arin and C. What's my personal statement? I want everyone to be happy. That makes me happy. I am here to find you. I am here to find my tribes from turtle island from which roots spread out around the world, around the country. New York a melting pot cosmopolis to you. Do I want to wait ten years to make my next album, my next video, my next tour? Not really. I don't think we have that much time. With the ever fragmented state of the world and the sweeping away of wisdom by the endless ravages of wars,I have the impression that I am meant to be a bridge or at least part of that bridge- between the present world that is passing-my dying world- to a new world that requires much illumination. As a writer,singer and journalist I do that through the pen, my voice, and events that I organize as in the upcoming Howl festival of lower east side arts, Well, I've pretty much poured my guts out here. I have a lot to offer and just need to be able to pay bills and beyond by creating a structure of support with you for you.It has been a revelation to see the new world in digital media find a forum and reflection and affirmation in Four Eyed Monsters. Let there be more. It's delivered on the promise of social web sites.
