"for me the grossest thing i think i've ever seen was the guy w/ the torch to the lil asian chick's face in Hostel and the after effects when dude has to cit her eyeball off.And the scene in Cigarette Burns when Udo Kier pulls his own intestines out and loops them on the film projector and starts it up. "I buy each of this series when it comes out. The best by far of any of them is Cigarette Burns. This is one of John Carpenter's best works. IF YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THIS, PLEASE, PLEASE WATCH THIS!Pelts, and Jennifer are close seconds with Haekel's Tale and Incident on and off a mountain road not far behind. " [More]

"Drew Barrymore was in Altered States two yrs. before E.T. was made. Sarah Michelle Gellar did Scream 2 and I know What You Did Last summer the same year Buffy started on TV. Several of Amy Smart's first movies were Campfire Tales, Starship Troopers, And Strangeland. James Marsden struggled on tv with guest appearances until Campfire Tales and Disturbing Behaivior. Christine Taylor had done Hey Dude and guest appearances on TV til she was in the Craft and Campfire Tales. The movie Carrie really launched a lot of careers. Sissy Spacek, Amy Irving, Piper Laurie, William (the greatest american hero)Katt had all only done TV or like one movie before this. Then there's John Travolta who before Carrie had only ever done TV and one movie: The Devil's Rain " [More]

"I recently watched this movie called Machined. The cover looked cool and it was put out by Lion's Gate which as everyone knows over the last few yrs has turned mostly nothing but Horror Movies. I watched it and felt myself getting dumber the entire time the movie was on. There is no way I'd ever watch it again.Or anything that Ulli Lommel directs. If this tard can make movies, so can I. I'll have to find out which one of my highschool buddies has a copy of Golf Cart of The Dead. ( a movie we made witha camcorder in 11th grade) If Lommel's crap sells surely we can get someone to buy ours. LOL " [More]
Re: Favorite Foreign Scary Movie

"A Tale of 2 Sisters!! What an awesome movie. Suspiria and Opera have to be up there too. Brotherhood of the Wolf was good , but i wouldn't classify it as horror. (Just had to mention it because everyone kept talking about it.) Has anyone seen Anatomy or Anatomy2? Not the greatest but worth a look. (German I think)While All of these are good my absolute favorite foreign Horror film has to be Audition. I love Takashi Miike. Suicide Club is good too. " [More]

"Well, you have the obvious ones... Elm St., Halloween, Friday 13th, Aliens, but I'm thinking more along the lines of stuff like Texas Chainsaw Massacre, The Hills have Eyes and Demons 1 & 2. " [More]

"Although not the best movie ever made, it has sentimental value for me. It was shot at Westville outside of Lumpkin,Ga. This is one of the places our school took us on field trips in middle school. The Cotton Gin in the movie is actually functional. One of my buddies from high school is an extra in the movie too. " [More]

"Frank Miller has become a hot property in Hollywood the last few years. His creation Elektra was in DareDevil and had her own movie. The Sin City and the upcoming Sin City 2. So, it was inevitable that 300 was gonna be made. I was skeptical at first. I didn't think anyone would be able to handle Frank's work the way Rodrigez did. Boy, was I wrong. It exceded my very high expectations. More of Miller's work should be made into movies. " [More]
