"Harrison Ford plays Rosat K. Sabich who is charged with the murder of his former lover. Did he do it or has someone framed him? He investigates her murder even though it is an obvious conflict of interest. This ultimately becomes the weapon used against him as he is formally charged by a former colleague. Office politics rule supreme and he struggles with the loyalty of people he thought he knew. And by the end, all is revealed.Awesome movie even though I've read the book by Scott Turow. Yeah, the book was better. If I hadn't know whodunnit, the ending of the movie would have definitely shocked me. "

"I was very disappointed with this movie. Emily Rose is a good Christian girl suddenly possessed after entering college. She comes home and her family tries to have a priest exorcise the demon from her body with fatal results. The priest on trial for her death slowly lets the story out to an agnostic lawyer defending him in court.I watched this film because it was featured on Bravo's Scary Moments update. Jennifer Carpenter was praised highly for her performance and for not using a prop or double-acting the part of Emily's deleriums, contortions, etc. I tried and just couldn't care about any of the characters or the story. The movie seemed to drag on and on. "

"The Exorcist starts with an archaelogical dig overseas and the discovery of an evil artifact that stops the clocks. An actress and her daughter living a quiet, comfortable life begin to hear sounds in the attic that are taken for mice scurrying about. Very quickly, the movie has the daughter possessed by demonic beings that will stop at nothing to get the attention they need or want. Enter the lone priest that risks all to help save Regan (the daughter). He and another priest perform "the" exorcism that sets the stage for all movie exorcisms coming afterward. I watched this movie when it first came out on the pay-per-view channels (when HBO was young). I was in the basement alone and still remember it vividly. I took the stairs two at a time, not looking back when it was over. The most talked about moment of the film--when Linda Blair's head twists completely around wasn't the scariest part for me. (Nor the green projectile vomiting-as revolting as it was) It was ... "
