"First a word about "hate": for me I notice that the reason I hate a movie is usually because of the expectation I have going in (i.e., crital acclaim), as some have mentioned, coupled with the fact that I leave feeling that I just wasted my time and money--I hate that!Two movies come to mind: "Blue Velvet" (huh?), and "Lost in Translation" (was there any character in Murray's performance?)...oh, and I can see hating "Fargo" because of the shredder scene; I can see making the argument for it being gratuitous there. "Paul, if members alert you to possibly inappropriate material, then you and your mates wouldn't have to be "wasting energy hunting down content to remove"--how 'bout that?I know you aren't getting much of a sample size from this discussion, but I would bet that most members would agree that they wouldn't want to be researching "Mister Roberts" and find a tag that says "hanoijane"--no matter what one's politics or sense of humor is--it just doesn't make sense does it?Is there still a Spout "discussion" after 2 weeks? -out " [More]
