I saw this in the Sao Paulo Film Festival in 2006 and went into this with high expectations, considering it had done considerably well in the Gramado Film Festival in Brazil. All those expectations were surpassed by a mile. A black and white film that has stayed with me, and which I look forward to owning on DVD.
