"In 1991 Point Break was a fun movie. I was barely a teenager so I'll comment on it like it's 1991. It's kind of cool. " [More]

"This film was also top 100 on AFI's 2007 list. It's a clasic. They took a seed of an idea and pioneered a new way of capturing cinematic structure. Wasn't that in to the others but this left me holding my medium popcorn in one hand the whole film. Like my hand was frozen for the movie. I didn't realize it until my friends pointed it out. Whatever. I love this film! " [More]

"I absolutely love this movie. For whatever reason it really struck a chord. I've watched it so many times now that I appreciate the writing to level of Oscar worthy. But how come those four words resonated with what some call the collective unconscious? Don't want to rant or claim this film to be anything other than what it is to me. " [More]

"So I just watched the new INSIDE OUT dvd, co-staring Steven Weber, Eriq La Salle, Kate Walsh, Nia Peeples and Russell Wong. I didn't really know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised. Kate Walsh is on the DVD cover as a headliner, though here role is not the lead. She does do something in the end that makes her most central to this offbeat dramatic thriller. And yes, this is film What makes INSIDE OUT work so well, in my opinion, is it doesn't take itself too seriously and has undertones of dark humor, all while suspense builds with dramatic tension at a smooth elevating pace. The twists at the end are stunning. I had many predictions while watching but never guessed that was going to happen. The reveals are set up in a clever way, justifying the stunning reveals. I won't be specific other than this is the film Grey's fans have been buzzing about Kate Walsh getting brave with less clothing. Story takes place in an average American neighborhood that has manic ... " [More]
