An incredible waste of TIME!!!

"I have to admit that I was once taken in by M. Night. I loved watching the dead people, the crop circles, and even gave the amish village a chance. I now actually dislike M. Night after watching this film, and I am surprised anyone in Hollywood would fund or produce something directed by him again. Shyamalan has become a one trick pony. For all of this movies desperate attempts to round out a character and all of its inexplicably spooky atmosphere, it's still about the twist. AND what a lame twist. (please excuse the use of an incomplete sentence. I may have went to M. Night's school of painfully awkward dialogue.) The actors (and I do LOVE one- Zooey Dashcanel) are phoning it in. I don't think that they have a clue as to what is going on, or even what their next line is. They may have been completely sickened by what could only be described as complete black hole of futility while making this movie (and I use the term -movie- loosely here). Nothing they could have done w ... " [More]

Re: Director Soundtracks

"Right now I am obsessed a little with the Planet Terror soundtrack from Grind house. Though, a little repetative, I think its awesome. The only thing I wish is that they included clips from the movie like Q.T. did with the Dea......-oh wait ALL of his soundtracks. I really wanted to hear Tony saying "I'm gonna eat your brains and steal your knowledge!" " [More]

"I'd definitely consider nosferatu. Renewed interest aside, from Shadow of the Vampire, this one is a fore-father to every vampire movie out there. I think that this is a great one to include. " [More]

"I have to say that Grind House is the best movie (S?) I've seen this summer. I am very sad people didn't get it, and that they are releasing the movies seperately on DVD. The experience of watching the film was exciting and extremely fun for me. I wasn't alive for the original grindhouse movies back in the day, but I am profoundly mystified by peoples lack of knowledge about the double features. I have a brand new appreciation for the whole gang related to that movie, though maybe most notably Rose Mcgowan and Eli Roth who directed a trailer and appeared in Death Proof (the trailer for Thanksgiving was SICK!). ---fav has to be Tony in Planet Terror, played by the director's son. "I'm gonna eat your brains and steal your knowledge." I thought the gun scene was hilarious! " [More]

"I remember having nightmares about the alien from Alien before I even saw the movie. They were so unlike anything that I had seen at that age, that they definitely made an impact. " [More]

"Dr_Gor's gonna love this Just saw Creepshow2. I know I will NEVER watch that one again.... wooden indians, cartoon venus fly-traps, lake thing was kind of cool, but not worth watching the rest to see. Sorry, I get classic cheese but that one was overboard for me. " [More]

"You know what? I did like the creepy preacher man screaming through the screen door "you're all going to die in there!" And the kids telephone. But I didn't get all of the native american whoo-doo at the end. I just think the third one is funny. Laura Flynn trying to be all creepy is hilarious to me, but the re-shoots that were needed when Heather died made everything extremely tough to swallow. " [More]
