 "Scanner Darkly is trippy, hilarious and gorgeous. The rotoscoping is meticulate and breathtaking. Casting is spot-on with the winning combination of Robert Downey Jr., Woody Harrelson and Keanu Reeves and it's nice to finally see Reeves animated. With its Philip K. Dick source material, Randian references and dark humor, this might be my favorite Linklater film, so far. It's definitely an improvement on "Waking Life." " [More]

 "Everyone should see this movie. It's amazing how powerful -- and how lame -- the MPAA ratings board is. It's sad that sex is bad and violence is OK in this country.  "All-in-all this is a clever and amusing film, but there are a couple times when it takes the too-easy or cheap route. The sex scene is played for laughs but was really unfunny and the name Statham's character calls a cab driver is just lame. " [More]
