Personal statement:

I've always loved movies.
I was never a "TV show kid" as a really young child; I watched movies.
My earliest memory (I think) is of me watching aladdin. I would sing the songs while rocking on my rocking horse in front of the t.v.
Music, Theater, and Movies; basically anything to do with performance of any kind, is what I live for.
My passion is musical theater. I would love to make my living on the stage. I have to be realistic, though. It's not a practical prefession... but I'm not saying I want to settle. I just don't want to fail. Get it?
I write a lot. I'm pretty good at it I guess. I enjoy writing... or rambling. Much like I'm doing now.
My "back-up job", I guess you can call it, is a critic. I would love to do that.

 "As a female I'm not one for the torturing stuff. However, I loved Saw. The genius plot didn't get over-shadowed by the blood and guts. The twists and turns of the movie were perfect and just enough to get me jumpping up at the end screamming "WHAT?!!!". Just what I need in a horror-suspense flick. Genius. " [More]

 "I had to be about 6 or 7 and my mother was watching West Side Story on TV. I walked in on the middle of the song "America" and was immediatly captivated. The dancing, the voices... stunning. This cast is all-star. Granted: Natalie Wood and Russ Tamblyn DID, however, have voice-overs for their songs, but the obvious acting talent is apparent. This musical classic is beautiful. " [More]

 "Having been obsessed over the Ocean's 11 remake when it came out I was excited when 12 was released. It was "okay" "mediokre". Never watched it again, nor bought it. Honestly, I completely forgot all about it except for the fact that somewhere along the line Julia plays herself....Now, a few weeks ago as 13 was starting to be advertised more I desided, "ohhhh what the hell, I'll buy it and watch it again." Still an over-all "okay".I zoned out several times in the middle. The plot is a bit all over the place at times and didn't keep my attention until there was about 45 mins left. I felt it was very rushed. Hopefully the 3rd is better; I'll know when I see it. " [More]

 "In movies and music the most important thing to me is the words. That's what reels me in. If I can relate to what is being said on a personal level then I'm set. When we, the audience, goes to see a movie or sits down to watch a movie we want to feel that a part of ourselves is in the characters; we want to know that the conversations we have with ourselves throughout the day (esspessially about relationships) are the same conversations other people are having with themselves as well. This story, made me feel like I wasn't alone.It truly spoke to me in that respect.Technically: I was impressed. The animations we outstanding and kept the film alive. The opening of the film set the tone correctly and got me hooked.I'd love to see more from Arin and Susan. I think they are so talented. " [More]

 "I love Zach Braff and everything he does, as a result I might be a tad bit bias to this movie. That being said: I loved it. The way the relationships are drawn out in this movie perfectly depicts what it's like to be a in a real serious relatioship. People over look the fact that it's healthy to have these sorts of doubts and problems in a relationship. This movie is honest and does not sugar coat the typical adult relationship. " [More]

 "is hands down amazing. The characters are truly people that you can relate to and hold close to your heart.The plot is amazing... I'm just crazy about this movie. I can honestly say that it's my absolute favortite of all time. And if anything, I want my beginning/ending to be the end of this movie. Makes me cry every time. Zach Braff is a GENIUS. " [More]
