"I watched this as a young lad at my friend's church once. Don't really remember any of it aside from the poster, and now that I'm an atheist I don't plan on reminiscing too much about it. It's just funny that it still sticks in my mind. It does feature the excellent John Callum however, who later achieved fame in the tv series Northern Exposure. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt00 86146/ " [More]

"Darn I didn't see this thread. Shaun of the Dead is the best of course, but Fido may give it a run for its money. See the new discussion I started:http://www.spout.com/f orums/10298/ShowPost.aspx " [More]

ZomComs: Will Fido be as funny ...
By WerewolvesRancheros in Zombie Obsession
"By now zombie fans have probably heard of "Fido", a Canadian production starring Carrie-Anne, Billy Connoly, Tim Blake Nelson (O Brother, Where Art Thou?, Syriana), and Dylan Baker (Peter Parker's professor in Spider-Man 2 & 3). It's US release date is June 15. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt04 57572/ http://www.fidothefilm.com/Set in the 50's, the premise is that Earth passed through a cloud of space dust, making the dead rise like yeast. However the corporation ZomCon domesticated them with special collars, or so they thought. " [More]

Nightmares
By WerewolvesRancheros in HORROR MOVIES 101
"What movies seen as a kid (or older) gave you nightmares? I remember seeing Poltergeist in theatres and had nightmares for a month. Jaws didn't bother me quite as much but I couldn't take a bath after it for a while either heh. " [More]

Re: Scarlett Johansson
By WerewolvesRancheros in Walk of Fame
"I think she has bonafide talent, of course sprinkling Miracle-Gro on her twins didn't hurt either.I also remember seeing her in "The Man Who Wasn't There" where she flirts with Billy Bob Thornton. This was a relatively small role though, and not the best showcase of her talents. Hmmm I'll have to rent Ghost World again, if for no other reason than Thora Birch and Steve Buscemi. " [More]
