Personal statement: At six, I made my dad take me home after about 20 minutes of "Empire Strikes Back" because I was scared of Yoda. At 8, I cried both times I saw ET, once at the drtive-in. At 14, I was annoyed that my friends were talking and throwing popcorn during a showing of "Cocktail." When I was 15, "Batman" was the coolest thing I'd ever seen in my life. At 17, I rented "Reservoir Dogs" and "Glengarry Glen Ross" on the same evening. Those two movies defined the next two years of my life. When I was 19, I watched "Pulp Fiction" 7 times in the theatre. I swear I'm not really obsessed with Quentin Tarantino, but maybe I should be, because "Kill Bill 2" changed my life. The last movie I saw that I loved was "The Namesake."
