"Oh, well I count the frogs as being part of the ending. Sure, they weren't in the last scene (the last scene was the cop going in to talk with the girl, she listens and then turns to the camera and smiles), but I count them as being part of the finale. When does the ending begin then? If it is the last scene well then the girl looking to the camera was a nice and interesting moment too. :) " [More]

"I just watched Paul Thomas Anderson's Magnolia (1999) again last night and gee, what a surprise ending. I love the way it just thumps the character's lives into a new reality. It is the +1 they all needed and thrust me, as an audience member, into the same state. The first time I saw it I was as surprised as the characters and the most recent time was still a buzz because the movie keeps you so busy. It isn't flagged at all and so the actual moment just jumps out at you. " [More]
