"Yeah, it was great to see a global perspective of the breakdancing culture. The begining of the documentary starts the story off with how bboy'ing evolved in the Bronx and trailed it to modern day. The director even gave a shout out to cult classic movie Flashdance... I have to say the American team definately did not get much camera time but all countries represented had a great story behind why they have risked everything for the art of dancing. The competition was intense... after seeing these guys break it down I felt 75lbs fatter than when I walked in. Overall I would definately recommend checking out their website for additional releases. The only truly dissapointing part of the documentary was that no female bgirls were represented.During the Q&A the director mentioned that they would be releasing additional un-cut footage online since they originally were working off of 40 hours of film.Good stuff. http://www.planetbboy.com/ " [More]
