Awsome. Glad I saw it at home rather than the cinema. Not sure if I could have coped with bum numbers two days in a row. When films cost so much to make per minute you'd think it would make fiscal sense for them to be more succinct.

Small film about the making of a TV pilot. Not bad but insubstantial. Nice to see Justine Bateman again.

The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford

Saw it last night in Filmhouse 2. Plenty of movie for your money. Looked amazing if a little music video in places with the soft focus iris effect. Great acting. Don't know why it was so long. Only dragged a little though. Particularly after the killing. Occassionally intrusive narration.

Contemplating venturing out into the drizzle to see Jesse get one from behind. Heard good things and enjoyed Chopper. Would be nice to start the year's flicks on a high but the Filmhouse is so far away.
