"I don't remember five movies where I loved the music, but the one I always think of is Talk to Her. In Spanish, about weird folks, a bit hard to follow. But the movie is absolutely beautiful. Can I love a movie only for the color saturation, pace and music? The music matches the mood of the movie perfectly, and I went directly from watching the film to try and find a good copy of Caetano Veloso's CuCuRuCoo (or however you spell that.) "Complete with wonderful 80s soundtrack that will bring you back. I used to think the cheerleader was so cool and her boyfriend so cute. I could never eat a candybar though after I saw Sloth eating one. Classic preteen flick about chase and treasure. Funny moments and great characters. " [More]

"I don't think this movie did well in theatres, but any movie that starts with a sex scene involving Christian Bale is a must see, pausing-frame-by-frame-movie. It's interesting too, involving the relationship between a young doctor, his girlfriend, his mother and temptations. Just wanted to mention that in case someone hasn't seen it. You should. " [More]
