These churches are progressive and embrace film and art. These churches are not about "christian" and "secular." They are into truth wherever it can be discerned. There is much truth in Doug's film. Tragic and hopeful and enduring truth.Offer the Mars Hill leaders a viewing of the film and get their input. Wherever it goes the film ignites intense heart searching and soulful discussions. It could be a great thing for churches to show for couples of all ages, married or considering marriage. "There are films that are bad on face, and we can serve those up all day. But how about a film that's deleterious of other great films bearing the same name? Part III was a great epic tragedy in filmmaking. My friends and those I trusted told me not to see it, but I did anyway. I guess I can laugh about it now... but it's still hard to get over. " [More]
