"The most endearing movie!Personally, I loved it, although I can understand some people thinking it starts off slow maybe? This is definitely not a movie for true believers in a normal “functional” society. I enjoyed every second of it, it was extremely realistic, the people were very down to earth, and Denis was a phenomenal character, it was interesting, touching, moving, inspirational... a brilliant movie about a little Martian Mozart. I suppose this is the sort of film you have to really want to see before you see it- its not the kind of thing you can just walk into and instantly understand where they’re taking this... but honestly, I think that the script was well written, that the chemistry between many of the actors was perfect... I will love this movie for probably a long time :] "

"I was truly amazed by Shia LaBeouf- he has developed into a truly phenomenal actor. The suspense driven film really does keep you on your toes, and constantly reminds you of previous themes in the film (which is wonderful because you never feel like you don’t understand, or like you’ve missed/forgotten information.) it keeps you guessing, but at the same time fulfills all of your expectations- I was thrilled.I would never have expected this from a post-Disney kid. (You know it’s a good movie- when you find yourself offering advice verbally to characters, it’s truly novel... my friends we in hysterics while I was entirely sympathetic to the fictional characters onscreen.) "This is one of the greatest suspense movies I’ve seen in a while, it had me jumping at almost every turn. I’m sorry to disagree with many movie goers out there, but really I think that this movie isn’t a “typical” Will Smith movie... I’ve heard that if you read the book, then the movie is a disappointment, but having not read the book- and having seen many of Mr. Smith’s films in the past... I am pleased to announce that I was thrilled with this movie. The acting was phenomenal, I literally felt like I was feeling everything that he felt (maybe I’m a little too enthusiastic about movies?) but I really, really loved this movie, and I will be first in line to buy it when it hits the stores! "Albeit the theatre I chose to view this (amazing) piece was full of unappreciative, disruptive teens (i.e. cell phones echoing their terror, blinding side-kick screens glowing with their textless glory, people actually talking ON THE PHONE during the film, loud random bursts of laughter).. I was still able to enjoy the movie, which is saying something- because normally that would entirely ruin it for me. The story is phenomenal, and I have to applaud Tim Burton for his, truly crowning achievement. I’ve always enjoyed Sweeny Todd as a story, but taking it from the stage to the screen, I was very, very impressed. "

"Although it was very romantic and endearing, the movie falls flat when it comes to any suspenseful moments the movie feels predictable, even though it really isn’t- anything you expect doesn’t end up that way. But its still interesting, and the acting is flawless! I really enjoyed it. "

"You have to have quite the unusual taste to appreciate this unusual film.I’m not so sure if I liked it or not, it was sort of endearing, but sort of annoying at the same time.I vote, if you like Napoleon Dynamite and/or UFS you’ll like this movie. "

"I have loved this movie ever since it first came out in the mid-90's. (I just happened to catch it on the Disney channel the other day,) It is such a sweet move, it really tries to show that Americans’ generally do care- but what I loved about the movie was how startlingly close to reality it was... it is a very endearing story, and should be on every parents movie list for their children. "This was the third time I was viewing this movie (I was with Jaryd, and it was his first time,) I have always found it very creative, and quite funny- but I didnt get nearly as much a kick out of it as Jaryd did- he was laughing so hard, and constantly was exclaiming "WHAT!?" through most of the film.the ending is the best part- its so ridiculous... he couldnt get over it.it was great. "I was surprised by how interesting i found this movie, although documentaries have never failed to entertain ME, I know many people find them boring. This film... made me laugh, cry, and gag... what story line? You don’t need one. The facts speak for themselves- we’re eating ourselves to death. Its time we recognized it for what it is... and stopped. supersize me. "
