"There isn't a whole lot to say about this movie... seeing as it is a sequal, I would be lying to say my expectations weren't high. Dispite the fact that about fifteen minutes into the movie I was pleading for the credits to roll, the plot was bearable and the acting wasn't the worst. AND dispite the fact that a major selling point for the movie was banked on Megan Fox's unfortunately gorgeous bod- I was hoping that the Transformers would be a main part of a movie that holds the title "TRANSFORMERS"... What I got was a washed up storyline revolving around the Military & a college student named Sam... The transformer Bumble-Bee (a main character in the previous film,) barely held a part in this movie. I was dissapointed to find myself losing intrest so quickly, and had to force myself to pay attention to the rest of the film... all in all, I wish it would have been better! " [More]

"Diary of the dead was only my second Zombie movie, and I wasn't dissapointed at all. I thought it was interesting how Romero was portraying the film like an accidental documentary. The beginning was well done, it set the stage for the rest of the movie. The only thing that I didn't fully appreciate was how abrupt the ending was. " [More]

"9 was an animated film intended and advertized for adults. However, I found the movie more suited for a younger audience, prehaps a more young-adult audience (This is why I think the movie was appropriately rate PG-13) The Character's and storyline were obvious & straightforward, which was refreshing. Acker did a good job portraying an interesting and evolving post-apocolyptica. However, I found the ending a little stilted, uncomfortable, & brief. All in all, Elijah Wood gave a stunning vocal performance, and I found the movie very Tim-Burton-Esk, as he (Burton) was appropriately one of the many producers. " [More]

"I grew up reading C.S. Lewis's Chronicles of Narnia books, and watching the visual portrayal by the BBC as a child truly brought the books to life. I cannot deny that the new movies by Disney weren't a bit of a disapointment... watching this movie again, and seeing how true to the book that the BBC remained was truley heartwarming. " [More]

"This was my very first zombie movie, and I was a little surprised; I was expecting a lot more of the “un-expected”. According to my friend Robby, this isn’t a typical zombie movie- in this film, the zombies have the ability to learn and evolve. I found the story line predictable, and it appeared to me that the zombies (although they feasted on human flesh and were the walking dead,) were more of an interesting character study then the actual leading characters in the movie. My favorite scene was when John Leguinzamo's character killed the main greed-addled opportunist guy. All in all, it wasn’t bad; I enjoyed it. " [More]

"I learned of this movie when someone told me it was their "all time favorite" skeptical, I rented it (knowing it was a prison film, I was worried that it would be lacking in plot, steeped in depth and realism, but lacking... structure,) However, I was gladly proven wrong. This film is a true work of "art" (for lack of a better word,) It almost absorbs you in, leaving you completely unaware you are viewing a movie. The acting is spectacular. Morgan Freeman & Tim Robbins are fantastic leads, but the "Villians" (again for lack of a better word,) were what truly gripped me, I really wanted to hate them, and felt quite justified when they got what was coming to them. Although it was brutal at points, it was a raw and completely honest film. Entierly enjoyable. 5 Stars! " [More]

"Heath Ledger stole this movie in my opinion, an absolutely breathtaking job of playing a demented villian. Bale once again amazes me by completely masking his natural accent and delivering a notable and somewhat captivating portrayal of the beloved Batman. "In my opinion, Will Smith has only ever made two mistakes in his career: Wild Wild West & Hancock.Smith unwisely turned down the role for Neo in the Matrix in favor of James T. West, Although it worked out well for Reeves, Smith was left with having his name on this film for eternity. At best, it was "Okay" but it wasn't great. " [More]

"The most endearing movie!Personally, I loved it, although I can understand some people thinking it starts off slow maybe? This is definitely not a movie for true believers in a normal “functional” society. I enjoyed every second of it, it was extremely realistic, the people were very down to earth, and Denis was a phenomenal character, it was interesting, touching, moving, inspirational... a brilliant movie about a little Martian Mozart. I suppose this is the sort of film you have to really want to see before you see it- its not the kind of thing you can just walk into and instantly understand where they’re taking this... but honestly, I think that the script was well written, that the chemistry between many of the actors was perfect... I will love this movie for probably a long time :] " [More]

"I was truly amazed by Shia LaBeouf- he has developed into a truly phenomenal actor. The suspense driven film really does keep you on your toes, and constantly reminds you of previous themes in the film (which is wonderful because you never feel like you don’t understand, or like you’ve missed/forgotten information.) it keeps you guessing, but at the same time fulfills all of your expectations- I was thrilled.I would never have expected this from a post-Disney kid. (You know it’s a good movie- when you find yourself offering advice verbally to characters, it’s truly novel... my friends we in hysterics while I was entirely sympathetic to the fictional characters onscreen.) "This is one of the greatest suspense movies I’ve seen in a while, it had me jumping at almost every turn. I’m sorry to disagree with many movie goers out there, but really I think that this movie isn’t a “typical” Will Smith movie... I’ve heard that if you read the book, then the movie is a disappointment, but having not read the book- and having seen many of Mr. Smith’s films in the past... I am pleased to announce that I was thrilled with this movie. The acting was phenomenal, I literally felt like I was feeling everything that he felt (maybe I’m a little too enthusiastic about movies?) but I really, really loved this movie, and I will be first in line to buy it when it hits the stores!
